We begin PADI Instructor Development Course – 1st on Koh Phangan!

Yesterday we started our first PADI Instructor Development Course, which is also the first PADI IDC training on Koh Phangan. In the next two weeks our seven Instructor Candidates will be studying theory in the classroom, practicing teaching skills in the pool and open water, and hopefully becoming fully qualified dive Instructors. We wish you all good luck!

Isis and the Bull Sharks

Our youngest diver had the dive of her life when she managed to see 4 bullsharks on a recent trip with sail rock divers.

Bull Sharks

The Bull Sharks are back at Chumpon Pinnacle, Koh Tao. This was our first trip of the season and 8 feeding bullsharks were seen. The opinion from our dive guides were that they are bigger, some female were up to 3m. So we are going back tomorrow Jan 10 2010 with a full boat again.. Happy Shark hunting guys….

Sail Rock Divers are planning a trip to chumpon pinnacles in a couple of days to check out the sharks…apparently there are bull and grey reef sharks everywhere… we will keep you posted…
