Thanks to Tim the Padi examiner for his time and efforts in making the IE possible on Phangan and thanks to Vic from reefers, Dave  and Alex Arnold and of course Rachel for keeping everyone happy and fed. The next IDC starts on the 29th so we are getting ready for
another 2 weeks of Instructor development. We are already taking bookings for October and November.

After a 14 day idc on koh phangan with Padi course director Dave Arnold and Master Instructor Alex Arnold we are pleased to announce that Bo, Davis and Dylan are now open water scuba instructors along with Gavin who completed his IDC staff instructor course. The last 3 days of examinations took place on Koh Tao with thanks going to  Darius and Mark from Buddha view for the logistical support.  We are now starting our Master scuba diver trainer internship with our 3 new instructors with the specialty instructor ratings completed in the next few days. Sail rock divers have now become the premier instructor development center on phangan and are planning the next course starting on the 27th June 2011.

We are so pleased with our new addition to our fleet of dive boats, The Siriporn Cruiser is a 22m long dive boat with lounge area, sun decks and ample room to accommodate  up to 30 divers comfortably. Our 5 Star center now has another 5 star boat.

The IDC lead by Darius and Dave is making great progress and all of the candidates are shinning already. The Instructor exams are on the 21st and 22nd and we wish all of our candidates well.
